  1. Suction cups or soft plastic removers can be used.  With the soft plastic removers, the lids are held away as when placing a lens and the 
  2. remover is placed against the front 
  3. surface of the lens and lens lifted off.

  5. If the remover is accidently placed 
  6. on the eye and not the lens surface, 
  7. it will stick to the eye.  Do not try 
  8. to pull it directly off, slide it to the 
  9. sclera and break the suction by tilting 
  10. the handle to the side rather than 
  11. pulling straight off.

  13. The suction cup is used in the same way 
  14. except the stem must be squeezed prior 
  15. to touching the surface then released to 
  16. form a suction on the front of the lens.
